If you were looking for someone to go undercover as a violent racist skinhead, you probably wouldn’t choose Daniel Radcliffe – although his onscreen character is equally dubious about the mission. Inspired by a real FBI agent, Nate is a classical music-loving brainiac who’s not used to field work, let alone rampaging gangs of thugs bent on wiping out minorities from US soil. Nevertheless, his superior (Toni Collette) hand picks him for the job.

Law enforcement is an integral part of the HBO drama series The Wire . The show has numerous characters in this field and their roles range from those enforcing the law at street level up to those setting laws city wide. The Baltimore City Police Department has been explored in detail from street level characters to the upper echelons of command. The show has also examined those setting laws in city politics and touched upon the FBI, the correctional system and the family of police officers.

Note: the initial post, now removed, described erroneously the Ben Wheeler loan child as Brendan Murray, an error which was immediately corrected. Both Murray and Wright were at the Super Bowl chorus. Even so, this post has now correctly describes the loan child for the Wheeler family as Owen Wright. The purpose of this post is to show the attempted cover-up of this fraud through an article in the Huffington Post, where Photoshop manipulation was used.
